All info shared in this blog is anecdotal due to it coming from my own experience of using the different at-home Microcurrent devices listed within this blog, info my clients have provided me after using the devices and the results I noticed them gaining over time whilst using them.
It should be noted I am not getting a financial kickback of any kind for sharing this info.
It should also be understood that I take NO responsibility whatsoever for any issues that may result from people purchasing and using the devices listed within this blog.
Due to my experience of providing in-clinic Microcurrent muscle treatments as well as my own experience of having treatments with other practitioners over the years and performing my own treatments with clinic-grade and at-home technology, as well as providing 100’s hours of Microcurrent Muscle treatments to my clients I often times use devices in a way other than that recommended by the manufacturer and anyone who follows the same way of using a device does so at their own risk.
This blog was updated on 13-12-22 and will be added to over the coming weeks until complete.
Please note that some health conditions, such as having a pacemaker may make using Microcurrent and EMS devices DANGEROUS. Please consult your doctor before using a device of this nature to avoid serious harm/injury.
This mini blog is designed to support the information shared in The Right At Home Microcurrent Device main blog 😻
Watch this video of Jessicat Microcurrent Full Face Facial treatment process which her clients followed when trialing the MYOLIFT device.
These pictures outline where to place the handpieces/probes on the facial features when performing a full face and neck treatment.
When I share the full face/neck and chest treatment process I provided my clients with the PICO Toner, you will be able to see the neck portion of the treatment that I have not provided within this supporting blog. Jessicat 😬 😺
MYOLIFT Initial Treatment Protocole:
The in-clinic treatments that I provide my clients consist of x10 treatments done as close to every 3–4 days as possible. For example, a client might come on a Tuesday and then again on a Friday for x5 weeks.
Using my Bio Ultimate Platinum in-clinic device, I would work through settings 1-10 throughout the ten treatment sessions, working from the lowest settings to the highest settings.
Due to the substantial difference in strength between an in-clinic device like the Bio Ultimate Platinum and an at-home device like the Myolift™, I would recommend performing comprehensive treatments that work through all muscle groups of the face and neck every second day over 20 treatments, where the strength of the treatments is raised incrementally lowest to the highest strengths incrementally.
Then I would use the device on the highest setting every 2–3 days for two months to ensure the muscles have been properly reconditioned before maintenance treatments are performed no less than every 4–7 days ongoing.
If two weeks go by without performing treatments I would recommend working through a Mini-Course of treatments, performing 20 treatments every 2 days, before going back to the usual maintenance routine, being made up of performing 4–7 days ongoing.
If more than 3 weeks go by without treatment, I rerecommend treatment20 treatments by working from the lowest to the highest setting on the Myolift™ device before performing a full month of treatments every 2-3 days before returning to the usual maintenance treatment routine.
And, if a month goes by without performing comprehensive Myolift™ treatments, then it is best to go through a full Initial treatment protocol, setting the clock back to zero, if you will.
Muscle memory is a very real thing, and it’s not really quite like going back to zero if you are someone that is usually very consistent with their Microcurrent muscle treatments. The muscles will respond well when a comprehensive treatment regime is followed once more, BUT it needs to be considered that the muscles of the face and neck are like the muscles of the body, and repairing and rebuilding the muscle tissue needs to be done properly, using lower strength treatments and moving incrementally back up to higher strength treatments is best when working to create results that will hold properly in between treatments done every 4-7 days and provide a solid foundation for them to improve over time.
I love YouTubers like Penny Smith who is a fantastic source of info about devices like the Myolift™ and Pico Toner, however…
To be a successful Youtuber you need to keep things fresh, and quickly move on from one device to another and one skincare product to another.
Teaching people to follow a comprehensive treatment routine and follow it long term, referring back to the device and routine ongoing, and then suggesting ways to tweak routines depending on problem areas would I dare say result in Youtubers not being able to gain the popularity they desire.
Please consider the information I am providing within this blog, coming back and referring to it over and over again whilst also availing yourself of the extensive informational resources available to you on the internet.
I do not want to be a popular Youtuber, I just want you to be able to gain the results you want and deserve and know how hard it was for me to learn what I now know, how much time and money went into becoming the beauty professional I am now, and how difficult it was in the time leading up to working in the beauty industry and the thousands of dollars I spent trying to find the treatments and products that would help me with my personal beauty needs.
Seriously, with such a HUGE amount of devices, products, and information available on the net today there are sooo many ways to lose your way when working to create a comprehensive at-home beauty routine that will actually work and can be built on steadily over time. This can happen even if you find the best at-home devices and use the very best skincare products.
IT IS ALL TOO EASY TO USE THESE RESOURCES FOR A BIT, THEN MOVE ON TO THE NEXT POPULAR THING AND NEVER GET THE FULL EFFECT OF ANY OF THE RESOURCES YOU INVEST YOUR TIME AND MONEY INTO.
In a world that can seem fast past with many shiny distractions being thrown at us through advertising, it needs to be remembered, slow and steady wins the race when doing anything substantial in life, such as being a good parent, completing higher education, working up the ladder in a workplace. A quick-fix attitude and or needing to jump into the latest beauty trend on your favorite social media platform may not be the very best way to build a solid foundation for your at-home beauty routine.
My advice here is to consider the following.
The ageing process is kicked up due to lessening levels of Adrenoseen Triphosphate (ATP) within the body’s cells.
Microcurrent technology can raise ATP levels by up to 500%, and Red LED Light therapy can raise it by 47%, so these technologies should make up your basic and core beauty routine day to day.
Then it needs to be considered that thinning skin is one of the BIGGEST reasons for fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, and other textural and pigmentation issues and sagging skin. In particular, I want you to think of a thinning, weakening dermis, which is the deepest layer of the skin and is responsible for new collagen and elastin creating and sending this up into the other layers of the skin. The dermis is also responsible for creating new blood vessel growth.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO CONSIDER WHETHER TREATMENTS HAVE THE ABILITY TO REPAIR AND REBUILD THE DERMIS WHEN CHOOSING IN-CLINIC TREATMENTS!
Treatments like Dermabrasion only really affect the outer layers of the skin, for a very brief period. Practitioners are able to say they trigger collagen and elastin growth because the human body is very clever, and the dermis does register a very, very, very mild trauma that has taken place on the outer layers of the skin and does create and send up a minute amount of new collagen and elastin up to heal that trauma, BUT it is practically nothing when considering the natural ageing process causing the skin to thin at a rapid rate after a certain age it really is not in my opinion worth spending money on. Instead, these treatments should be seen as a way to relax and be spoilt, but usually be done at home yourself, unless money is no worry and you can afford to outsource all your beauty needs.
Even if you do have the luxury of being able to do this I would still advise you to perform daily Microcurrent treatments and Red LED Light treatments every few days at home as part of a comprehensive at-home beauty routine because whilst in-clinic versions of these treatments are fantastic, the real magic of these therapies can only be experienced in my opinion if they are done in the way I just outlined, daily for Microcurrent therapy and every few days for Red LED Light.
Depleting muscle mass is another BIG reason the look of the face and neck changes as we age. Just consider how the elderly shrink in size as they age.
And then there is the problem of fat loss on the face and neck, which in my mind is why thickening the skin and addressing depleting muscle mass should be addressed properly, in fact, overdone to make up for fat loss which can not be helped as you mature. Think about it, how often are you able to gain fat in places you want it? Even if I am carrying extra weight I am not able to make this extra fat collect on my face, instead, it goes to other areas, like the crease of my bottom, greaaaaat, or at least so my booty-obsessed husband things, bless him…
I think of using the Tua Tend and MYOLIFT combination of devices as the next step when wanting to create a comprehensive at-home muscle toning and skin rejuvenation treatment process, and I will be sharing information about combining these devices withing the main blog this supporting blog has been created to be linked to.
Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) is the very energy currency within every cell of your body. As we age the production of ATP decreases over time. Using a Microcurrent device for a minimum of three minutes can raise ATP levels by up to 500%. Due to this, I would always use a Tua Spa Microcurrent device morning and night to raise ATP levels and trick my skin cells into behaving as they did in my late 20s and early thirties, using this device in conjunction with the Tua Trend device ongoing. I would think of the Myolift™device as being for the muscles of the face, whilst the Tua Spa device is for the skin of the full face, neck, and chest areas.
