RF Microneedling is a state-of-the-art aesthetic treatment that targets thinning skin head-on instead of working to hide the problem the way injectable therapies like Botox and Filler do.
Thinning skin is one of the critical reasons for forming fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin.
RF Microneedling treatments can, if done effectively in the correct number, work to target the problem of thinning skin, which is one of the critical reasons that skin thins over time, causing fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, pigmentation issues, and sagging skin.
RF Microneedling can also treat stretch marks, acne, and other scars.
How Do RF Microneedling Treatments Work?
Traditional Microneedling, (also called Collagen Induction Therapy and Collagen Induction Fractional Microneedling) works by creating a controlled trauma in the epidermis (outermost layers of the skin) and, in more intensive treatments, into both the epidermis and dermis beneath, which is responsible for creating new collagen, elastin, and blood vessel growth).
Traditional Microneedling treatments break the outermost layers of the skin over and over again to create a resurfacing effect that helps fade imperfections such as pigmentation, enlarged pores, and uneven skin tone whilst also working to give the skin a little more of a plump and fresh look overall.
Venus Viva Diamond Polar RF/Magnetic Pulse and Excilis Ultra 360 RF/Ultrasound therapies work to deliver non-ablative RF down into both the dermis and epidermis without breaking the outermost layers of the skin to create controlled trauma that, over time, if the correct amount of treatments are done, is capable of producing enough new collagen, elastin, and blood vessel growth to replace lost volume within epidermis and dermis to dramatically plump and lift mature aged skin that has thinned substantially over time.
Non-ablative RF therapy is the primary therapy used within our 4-Stage and 5-Stage treatments due to its ability to replace enough lost volume within the skin to help Jessicat clients avoid or negate injectable therapies and avoid surgical face lifts.
RF Microneedling (also called Injectable RF) combines non-ablative RF with traditional Microneedling therapy, delivering RF through the tips of needs that can penetrate the epidermis (outermost layers of the skin) and dermis (the deepest layer of the skin) to provide a powerful resurfacing and rebuilding treatment.

Jessicat’s Light-Moderate RF Microneedling treatments work to cause a controlled trauma within the epidermis to trigger the dermis beneath to send up new collagen and elastin growth to help repair and rebuild the outer layers of the skin.
These treatments work to plump out the look of fine lines and create thicker and firmer-looking skin, as well as help smooth away the look of pigmentation-enlarged pores and improve the overall texture and tone of the skin.
Jessicat’s Full Strength-Intensive treatments cause a controlled trauma within the dermis to repair and rebuild the machine responsible for creating collagen, elastin, and new blood vessel growth.
These treatments work to create more long-lasting results by targeting the problem of thinning skin head-on, resulting in longer-lasting results due to improving the strength and functionality of the dermis.
Jessicat has found that it is necessary to use non-ablative RF therapy provided using Venus Viva Diamond Polar and Excilis Ultra 360 devices to recreate lost volume in mature age skin that has thinned so dramatically that it loses position on the facial features and slides downwards, creating hollows in the face, fine lines, wrinkles, and the dreaded jowls.

Leading up to taking on RF Microneedling technology in June 2022, Jessicat had been providing:
–Venus Freeze Diamond Polar therapy (the same basic technology as Venus Legacy and Venus Versa) – non-ablative RF therapy that works to repair both the epidermis and dermis beneath without visual healing since April 2014.
–Venus Viva Diamond Polar therapy – which works to target both the dermis and the epidermis (the same as the Venus Freeze therapy does), and Nano-Fractional RF – ablative RF that works to resurface the outer layers of the epidermis as well as repair and rebuild the deeper layers dramatically since Jan 2016.
–Traditional Microneedling done using the clinic-grade M-Derma pen – also called Collagen Induction Therapy, and Collagen Induction Fractional Microneedling (CIFM) treatment since Nov 2017.
–Excilis Ultra 360 – non-ablative mono-polar RF therapy since July 2022.
-RF Microneedling and HIFU therapy – purchasing and completing training in July 2022.
